AUSTIN CONVENTION CENTER
The four-story, LEED® Gold-certified Austin Convention Center, is an accredited Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ Facility. There are five column-free exhibit halls, totaling 247,052 square feet, and two ballrooms that range up to 40,510 square feet in size, along with 54 meeting rooms.

There is robust and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the facility. Over 20,000 wireless devices can connect simultaneously so there is no need to roam, looking for the full connectivity sweet spot. There are new video walls for additional wayfinding and client messaging to go along with a 24/7 network support team for event customization. It offers a variety of in-house services, including redundant high-speed internet II access, plug-and-play capabilities, and on-site technical staff.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
With a 100% customer survey rating from clients saying they would schedule another event, the Austin Convention Center manages 90% of its services such as housekeeping, security, IT, and exhibitor services, all provided by in-house trained staff.
ACCOMMODATIONS
There are 48,000 hotel rooms in Austin and 12,000-plus of them are downtown within a two-mile radius of the facility. Adjacent hotels connected by walkways include the 800-room Hilton Austin, connected by Hilton Overhead Walkway at 4th, and Fairmont Austin, North America’s largest Fairmont property with 1,048 rooms, connected via Fairmont Canopy Walk.
The all-new Austin Marriott Downtown, located adjacent to the Austin Convention Center, opened its doors recently with 600 guestrooms.
